Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to speak with you or submit my information?
No. There's no cost to submit your practice information or to book a call.
Is this a sales pitch?
No. I'm not a broker and I don't represent any DSO or buyer. This is a conversation about where you are and what your options look like. You decide what to do with that information.
Who are you?
I'm Kevin Ng. I built my dental practice in Chicago from scratch and sold it to a DSO six years later. I retained equity in the acquiring company and spent the following year building a family office from the proceeds. I know what the transition process looks like from the seller's seat because I sat in it. Read the full story →
What happens after I submit my information?
I review what you send and email you back within 48 hours. I'll share my honest read on where your practice stands, what a buyer would focus on, and what questions you should be asking right now. If you want to talk through it further, you can book a free 30-minute call.
What's the difference between what you do and what a broker does?

Brokers represent the deal. I represent what the deal means to you.

A broker's job is to close a transaction. That's not a criticism, it's their model. My job is to make sure you understand what you're walking into before you're in the room. Those are different things.

Do you work with all practice types?
Yes. General, specialty, solo, group. Nationwide.
I'm not ready to sell yet. Is this still useful?
Yes. Most of the dentists I talk to are 1 to 3 years from a transition, not 1 to 3 months. The earlier you understand how valuation works, what buyers look at, and what your options are, the better positioned you'll be when the time comes. Do I have to commit to anything?
No. Submitting your information starts a conversation. Nothing more.

Where do you want to start?

Free. Not a broker. No commitment.
